Enrique Bermudez Kant

Partner

Enrique Bermudez Kant is a founding partner at DENFAB. He has practiced law since 2004 advising clients in areas related to corporate law, company administration, corporate services, asset planning and asset protection.

Mr. Bermudez Kant received his Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Political Science from Santa María La Antigua University in 2004; later completed

in 2007 a Master’s Degree in Procedural Law from Universidad Latina de Panama.

He is a member of the National Bar Association of Panama.

He is qualified to practice law in the Republic of Panama.

Gonzalo De la Guardia

Partner

Gonzalo de la Guardia is a founding partner of DENFAB. He has practiced law since 2002 and has worked as an attorney advising clients in operations related to administrative law, tax law, commercial law and real estate law.

Mr. de la Guardia received his Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Political Science from Santa María La Antigua University in 2002; later completed in 2006 a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance from ULACIT.  Additionally, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Taxation from UNESCPA (2009).

He is a member of the National Bar Association of Panama and of the Urban Citizen Network.

He is qualified to practice law in the Republic of Panama.

Ricardo Faraudo

Partner

Ricardo Faraudo Fernandez is a founding partner of DENFAB since 2005. He has practiced law since 2002, advising clients in operations related to corporate law, commercial law, real estate law, immigration law and asset planning.

Mr. Faraudo received his Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Political Science from Santa María La Antigua University in 2002; later completed in 2003 a Master’s Degree (LL.M.) with emphasis on banking, corporate and financial law from Fordham University, Nueva York, NY.

He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama.

He is qualified to practice law in the Republic of Panama.

Carlos Neuman

Partner

Carlos Neuman is a founding partner of the firm.  He has practiced law since 2002 and has worked advising clients in operations related to corporate law, commercial law, real estate law and asset planning.

Mr. Neuman received his Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Political Science from Santa María La Antigua University in 2002; later completed in 2003 his Master’s Degree (LL.M.) with an emphasis on Corporate and Maritime Law at the University College London, London, England.

He is a member of the National Bar Association of Panama.

He is qualified to practice law in the Republic of Panama and has a public translator license granted by the Ministry of Education of Panama.

Juan Villanueva

Senior associate

Juan Ignacio Villanueva has been an associate at DENFAB since 2016. He has practiced law since 2007 and has worked as a lawyer in recognized local firms advising clients in transactions related to corporate law, commercial law and real estate law; he has also served as director of companies with operations in Panama, which has allowed him to provide advice to his clients by adding a business approach.

Mr. Villanueva received his Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Political Science and was bestowed with the honor of receiving the Cum Laude Title from Santa María La Antigua University in 2005; later completed in 2007 his Master’s Degree (LL.M.) with an emphasis on Corporate and Commercial Law at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in London, England. Additionally, he holds a post-graduate degree in Entrepreneurial Excellence from the University of Arkansas (2013) and a Diploma in Labor Law from the Universidad Latina de Panamá (2016).

He is a member of the National Bar Association of Panama.

He is qualified to practice law in the Republic of Panama and has a real estate broker’s license granted by the Ministry of Commerce and Industries of Panama.

Ramiro Góngora Candanedo

Senior associate

Ramiro Góngora Candanedo has been an associate at DENFAB since 2016. He has practiced law since 2001 and has served as a trial lawyer in the Senior Public Prosecutor’s Office specialized in Civil Affairs of the Public Ministry, as well as in the private sector. Practice areas include civil, criminal, labor and administrative law, as well as management and legal advice in the National Assembly among other Governmental entities. Mr. Góngora Candanedo received his Bachelor’s Degree from the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Panama. He took a Post-Graduate Course on Extra Contractual Responsibility of the State from the University of Castilla La Mancha in Toledo, Spain. He also completed doctoral studies in Procedural Law from the National University of Rosario, Argentina. His continuous academic training includes several diplomas, seminars and conferences.

He is a member of the National Bar Association of Panama.

Alexandra Grimaldo is a member of DENFAB, and has practice law since 2102. She has specialized in several law areas such as Corporate Law, Asset Planning and Tax Law. Ms. Grimaldo received her Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Political Science from Santa Maria la Antigua University. Ana Lucía Márquez is a member of DENFAB and has been practicing law since 2008. She has specialized in several areas of law including Corporate Law, Contracts and real estate law.

Ms. Márquez received her Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Political Science from Santa Maria la Antigua University in 2006. Brayan Bethancourt

Brayan Bethancourt Cordoba is a lawyer of DENFAB´s litigation team. With more than 7 seven years of knowledge in the public sector within different dependencies of the Judicial System, he has been able practiced law in the civil, labor, administrative and maritime jurisdictions.

Mr. Bethancourt completed his Bachelor`s Degree at the University of Panama. In the course of his profession, he has obtained certifications of maritime law and has attended many seminars and conferences.

Evelin Rosas

Evelin E. Rosas Pérez, has a degree in Law and Political Science, graduated from the University of Panama in 2009. She began her professional career in the Judicial Branch, dedicating herself to public service for 16 years, where she held various positions, such as executing bailiff, judge in the Municipal and Civil Circuit Courts, special substitute magistrate in the First Superior Court of the First Judicial District of Panama and assistant to the Magistrates of the Court of Maritime Appeals.

Elieth Hernández

Majella Rivera

Consultant

Majella del C. Rivera is a member of DENFAB since 2011. She has practiced in different fields of the Law, as corporate law, real estate law and the horizontal property regime.

Ms. Rivera finalized her studies in the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Panama.

She has also earned two specialization degrees.  One regarding the Panamanian Public Registry and the other one, in Computer Crimes and Computer Forensics both issued by the Latin  University of Panama 2014).

Paola Vega

Associate

Paola Vega Chang is an attorney at DENFAB and has been practicing law since 2004. She has specialized in different areas of law such as Administrative Law, Tax Law and Commercial Law.

Ms. Vega obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Political Science from Universidad Santa Maria la Antigua in 2004. In 2007, she concluded her Master’s Degree in Commercial Law at the same university. Subsequently, in 2009, she obtained her LL.M. with emphasis in Corporate Law from Boston College Law School in Newton, Massachusetts. Additionally, Paola holds a Master’s Degree in Tax Law from the Instituto de Estudio e Investigación Jurídica of Nicaragua, in collaboration with the Administrative Tax Court of Panama, which concluded in 2021.

She is a member of the National Bar Association and the Panamanian Academy of Administrative Law, currently holding the position of Treasurer.

She is qualified to practice law in the Republic of Panama.
